#LETGO
Let go of the people who don't appreciate your presence in their life. Let go of the things that you want but most certainly don't need. Let go of the thoughts that take you back in time but fill you with regret or disappointment. When your simplicity is mistaken for your stupidity, just take it as an opportunity to unburden yourself of fake people and leave them wondering why you suddenly stopped giving them importance, rather than trying to explain yourself, which will only make them believe that their opinion still means a lot to you. You are not just "what you eat ", you are also, what you think and who you spend time with. So, making a wise choice isn't sufficient anymore. In this era of constant change, it becomes very unavoidable to reassess your decisions and priorities at regular intervals.
Let go. Stop rolling your eyes, its not as easy as said but not as difficult as it feels too. My kid makes it feel like its the easiest and the best thing to do , for almost anything. Spending an hour with kids can take away days of burden and pain that you have been carrying around in your heart, sourced from the boredom of day to day mundane chores or from that really annoying boss. Kids can also teach you a few lessons which make you realise how simple it all actually was before we started making a big deal out of everything and complicated it way too much.
We give way too much importance to self-image and presentation, which only adds up to the long list of pressures we are either burdening ourselves with or the ones we were spoon fed to be important, while growing up. The latter are the toughest to get rid of because whats fed to us through out our growing-up years become the foundation of our thought process and so any thoughts above it, have to be validated by those theories of foundation, even though they seem absolutely illogical, at times. Well, I don't mean you shouldn't bother about how you look or speak, but when you go overboard with it, to the point where you take pride in wearing a Prada and find no shame in flaunting it too, then maybe its time for your medical-checkup.
Some are hard to please and some never get tired of proving their point. A fine balance is already established, so why can't the rest of us withdraw from the race and live a quiet, peaceful life without the pressure to tame a false sense of accomplishment.
It's probably too abstract topic for some but those who can relate to it, can criticize or appreciate it to their benefit and thats the only motive of this article.
