Having been a fan of SRK since my school days, it was a feast to see both younger and the matured SRK at the same time, in the same movie. Having said that, it would have been an even more enjoyable two and a half hours only if the script was given as much importance as the look of the younger SRK. Tremendous amount of time and money was spent on the research and trials for the younger look. The final look was attained by using silicon, prosthetics and VFX . Making a 50 year old man look like a 25 year old young man isn't any makeup artist’s daily job. The man behind Brad pitt’s look in the ‘ The curious case of Benjamin Button’, Greg Cannom, is also the man behind SRK’s younger look in the Fan. His skin texture was made unbelievable, his jaws widened and even his iconic nose was given a thinner look.  SRK proves his passion for his work yet again .  He had to sit for 4 to 5 hours of makeup sessions everyday ,with a broken backbone.
