I am sorry, I am consistently inconsistent with my blogs. I am sorry for myself, not that you are missing out on something great. LOL, I hope.

Last wednesday, I had been to Chinnaswamy stadium to get my first ever in-stadium experience. It was the Bangalore Royal challengers vs the Kings XI Punjab. Not that I am a big fan of cricket, just for the sake of my son and a different kind of experience. My son is the latest addition to the already huge, mostly male-gendered, cric-fanbase of our country. I wonder how many women who are into cricket, are really into it?  Coz, I feel theres something only in an Indian man's genes, that make them  fall in love with the game at a very young age. Being a woman, I guess I can safely say it. If it was a chethan bhagat or some other poor guy just expressing his freedom of speech, he would draw a lot of flak but I hope I am safe with just a few followers. Not that I am afraid of criticism. Actually, I don't mind, bring it on if you can. :o)

Surprisingly, I enjoyed the match like never before. More than seeing Virat in person, it was the crazy, awesome crowd that was more exciting to be with. Despite of heavy rain, the ground was cleared in no time and the match happened. One such evening every once in a while is enough to give a good feel and rejuvenate you to live on.

If you are going through that time in life where a lot is happening but nothing seems to be changing, you are not alone. Just try something new. something you always fantasised about but never thought of shedding some lazy bone to make it actually happen. I did something and ticked another box on my Bucket list. I rode a Bike. Yes, I know, a lot of girls are riding man-bikes now but I did it so its special for me.  The number of stares of surprise I got on the roads of so-called big city of Hyderabad is just unforgettable. I thought Ekta Kapoor has already given the indian janntha enough amount of drama in their living rooms!! Why is a female on a man-bike , still so hard to digest? If that was so hard, wait until you see me on a bullet jannthaa. ;o)

Ohh one more thing happened on the same day as I went to see the IPL match. I crashed into a speeding tempo, when it suddenly stopped in front of my car. I diverted but for a minor corner crash. My first official car-crash. I am fine, don't you all worry but plz dont tell my Dad. He would take away my license.  I am a mother of a boy but for my dad, I am still a ten year old stupid girl. My poor car is going around with a dent. I feel sorry for it. As sorry as for a girl with a fresh pimple on her face.

Luckily the tempo guy either didn't notice it or was in a big rush to reach somewhere so I was spared of some drama on the road. Unfortunately, Women drivers still have to face a lot of judgemental-abuse on the road. If a guy drives like an idiot, he can probably get away with it but a lady behind the wheel can't afford a single slip of inconvenience to anyone on the road, especially not to the auto-wallahs. Hands start gesturing, which means why can't these women sit at home, as if driving is a man-job.

The same day, I got back in touch with an old friend, whom I really didn't expect to talk to ever again.
Quite an eventful day. Worth a blog, for sure. So, here it was..

My brother is visiting me this week. Looking forward to show him a good time and make some memories.
