Time well spent or not!
Who or what is the best judge of that? 
Is it worth your time to seek happiness where your heart says YES but your mind says NO.
Things that reap benefits, either monetary or intellectual , or what leaves us with good memories and sweet lingering thoughts on our mind ? Which ones are worth our time ?
At the risk of coming across as an emotional puppy , I vote for the later. Second to it would be reading and discussions which stimulate me intellectually ofcourse.

Paulo Coelho  said in his very simple and interesting book "The Alchemist”, If you really want something ,the whole universe will conspire to help you.
But does he mean we pursue it anyway or just wait and watch for the universe to implement its conspiracy !! I would give my right hand to see that miracle happen in my lifetime.

Balance.. Is it just me or is it another conspiracy of the universe. Whenever something goes wrong on one front, something else goes well on another side of your life almost around the same time. When some friend hurts you or you hurt someone unwillingly/unknowingly/impulsively(which hurts even more), some other old friendship or relation re-blooms and heals your present wound. A bad news is also followed by a good news more than we know. We seldom observe it because we are too drowned in sorrow already. All we need to do is observe the universe and its conspiracies very closely. For me it often feels like the universe wants to give you a compensation or solace for its mistake.  "Its mistake" because you are a part of "It". It can't see you unhappy for long. It allows you to stay unhappy only for as long as you learn from your mistakes. Its easier for the universe to maintain a balance of emotions and happiness in itself, only if more and more of us list...

#BeingYoung is not a child's play.. The fantasy that there is someone absolutely perfect for you somewhere out there in the real world is probably the very reason humanity hasn't gone extinct even after 200,000 years  of cumulative  experience of sapiens with life.
